This measure is formulated based on the 'Cybersecurity Law of the People's Republic of China', 'Regulations on the Administration of Algorithms for Internet Information Services', 'Regulations on the Administration of Deep Synthesis in Internet Information Services', and the 'Interim Measures for the Administration of Generative Artificial Intelligence Services', among other laws and regulations. The deadline for feedback is the 20th.

Starting November 2023, Google requires political ad creators to clearly disclose whether their advertisements contain AI-generated content. This requirement applies to election ads featuring synthetic content that showcases 'realistic characters or events.' Ads must include disclaimers in a 'clear and prominent' location, stating that the advertisement utilizes AI-generated content. This decision addresses the widespread use of synthetic content in political advertising, as some political ads have already begun using AI for production, making this decision a response to that trend.
